Our counselors are a wealth of knowledge and resources available FREE to you, regardless of whether you have insurance or not.

Sheri P., MSW, LCSW

Sheri is a masters level, licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience in crisis, adolescent, family, and women’s issues.  She has been a Birthright counselor since 2003 and is the current Director of Counseling.  Sheri loves the opportunity to work one on one with women who are facing life challenges and together finding ways to cope, overcome and strengthen their sense of self. Sheri feels it’s a gift to take on the struggles and successes with the women she meets at Birthright. Through compassion, empowerment, problem solving and skill building Sheri helps each woman believe she can make a plan that fits her life. She hopes each client’s experience at Birthright is uplifting and positive.

Terry B., LCSW

Terry is a licensed clinical social worker. Terry received her Master’s degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2005.  Terry has worked in the field of clinical social work with families and children in counseling since 2008. Terry has 22 years of diverse social work experience which includes child welfare, early childhood, housing, substance abuse and mentoring. Terry enjoys the opportunity of helping pregnant women understand their options while utilizing an individualized approach with compassion and empathy for all, regardless of marital status, socioeconomic status, race, religion, or creed.

Beth, LPC

Beth is a licensed professional counselor with a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Webster University. She has worked as an adolescent counselor and teacher and has been with the Birthright team since 2011.  Her drive and passion for people have always been in the forefront in her life, seeing the good in others and inspiring others to experience hope. She loves that Birthright's work focuses on aspiring to bring hope to women and children who feel they don't have it and is grateful to be part of these efforts through the utilization of empathy and respect for all in a professional counseling setting.

Jennifer, LPC

Jennifer is a licensed professional counselor with a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University. She has experience working with a variety of clients and has a special interest in women's issues and grief. She has a passion for helping women feel empowered to make their own choices. She believes people are the experts of their own lives and enjoys walking alongside them as they navigate life's challenges. She uses a compassionate, non-judgmental approach in supporting women in their journey, whatever path they may choose. She appreciates how Birthright provides professional counseling to each client, specific to the client's individual needs. Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends, walks outside, having fun with her sons and cuddling with the family dog.
