WAYS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Volunteering
We consider our volunteers to be the beating heart of our organization. We deeply value the time and effort each of our volunteers take to help bring our mission to everyone who seeks our help. If you are interested in making a direct impact, we invite you to join us as a volunteer.. No matter what your skills or availability, there is a place for you.
- You can assist us weekly as a phone volunteer, answering calls and messages, and being an essential part of the support system for the women we serve that are assigned to you, as well as assisting with various office tasks. The typical weekly shift is on the same day each week for 3 ½ hours but we accommodate your needs as able. Training is provided.
- Maybe you are more comfortable being a receptionist, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while greeting clients and assisting with their initial intake process. You would also help organize the office and assist with needed office tasks.
- Are you fluent in Spanish? You could play a vital role as a translator, helping bridge communication between our counselors and Spanish speaking clients. Or perhaps you could join us for an event to help promote our services to the Spanish speaking community.

Learn MoreDonating
It is because of generous donors like you that we are able to do our work and carry out our mission. As we do not receive government grants or funding of any kind, monetary donations play a pivotal role in sustaining our work. Every contribution regardless of size or form, makes a significant impact. You have the option to donate monetarily as a one-time gift, a recurring monthly donation and/or company matching funds.
We’d like to highlight the State Pregnancy Resource Center Tax Credit available in Missouri. Donations of $100 or more may qualify for a 70% state tax credit that directly reduces your state tax liability. This means your support not only directly aids our cause but can also provide tax benefits for you as a donor. For example, a cash donation of $1000 to BIrthright St. Charles may qualify you for a $700 state tax credit. All qualifying donations will receive an acknowledgement letter and the appropriate form to be completed for the tax credit from the Birthright St. Charles office with further instructions.
In addition to traditional monetary donations, you can also help us by hosting fundraisers and in-kind drives/collections for the items needed by those we serve.
Giving hearts and talents are found in many places like clubs, schools, churches, senior residencies, businesses and within yourself or family. Helpful items like: diapers, wipes, sleepers, crib sheets, bottles, breastfeeding materials, mom care bags/journals, and hand-crafted items all meet the needs of the women and families we serve and show them they aren’t alone. If you’re contemplating making Birthright St. Charles, the focus of your next project, don’t hesitate to reach out and we can discuss our current needs and how to support your project or idea. Let’s work together to make a difference.
No matter how you choose to donate, we will always maintain our donors’ privacy, names, personal information, and correspondence, so you can rest assured your donation is secure. If you are interested in learning more about how and what you can donate, or you are ready to donate now, visit the above link and help us make a difference in someone’s life.
Learn MoreJoin the Heaven & Earth Program
The Heaven & Earth Program is a very special and meaningful way to get involved. You can join as an individual, a family, or even an organization to make a difference through this impactful program. Through monetary donations, prayer, and support, each member of the Heaven & Earth Program sponsors a specific Birthright St. Charles client through the duration of her pregnancy. You will receive monthly updates on your sponsored mom-to-be as you walk along her pregnancy journey with her. At the end of the journey you will receive an acknowledgement poem of the direct impact you had for this specific mom and her baby. Your support through this program is one of the most directly impactful programs for our clients and organization. For more information about the Heaven & Earth Program, visit the link above. If you are ready to ‘move Heaven & Earth’ to make a difference in our clients’ lives, this is the program for you.
